HerNextStep
HerNextStep empowers women to lead initiatives that drive meaningful change at the local level. You will grow the confidence and leadership to speak up about what matters most to you at home, at work, and in your community. Tell us what you’re passionate about, and we’ll help you create a strategy for changing things. Whether you’ve run for office or you’re unsure of how to turn your passion into action, the program has something for you.
-
We’re recruiting motivated leaders on the ground to be our AIT Ambassadors, elevating our mission and creating strong community ties that last. We’ll work together to build groups of women with diverse viewpoints and backgrounds who unite for civic engagement. Each group can grow to approximately 20-30 women and additional chapters will be added as necessary.
-
All groups will engage in non-partisan activities that promote better education and engagement in our democracy.
-
Chapters will work with and grow AIT’s existing partner network of dozens of direct service, issue-based advocacy, and women’s leadership organizations.
